EV Enterprises was founded in 1996 as a sole proprietorship specializing in commercial and industrial protective coatings. In 2001, the company changed its business structure to a corporation and expanded its operations to include all types of surface treatments for floors, walls, and roofs.

EVE, Inc. is licensed as a general contractor in both Virginia and North Carolina. In addition, the company is certified in Virginia as a small, woman-owned business enterprise as well as registered in North Carolina as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB).
